1:8. ಆದರೆ ಅದೋನೀಯನ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪದ ಅನೇಕರು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಇವರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಚಾದೋಕ, ಯೆಹೋಯಾದಾವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನಾಯ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನ, ಶಿಮ್ಮೀ, ರೇಗೀ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ವಿಶೇಷ ಅಂಗರಕ್ಷಕರು. ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಅದೋನೀಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ಸೇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
